Job description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal specializing in Commercial Real Estate to join our Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support complex real estate transactions, legal research, and document management within a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our real estate practice by assisting attorneys with case preparation, document review, and legal research.
Duties:
- Review and monitor office & tenants Certificates of Insurance (COI) and Certificates of Occupancy to ensure lease compliance.
- Communicate with outside counsel and attorneys, providing documentation and support as needed.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and real estate verbiage.
- Attend office meetings while taking and consolidating notes.
- Assist with CAM reconciliations and review operating expense language in leases.
- Assist other employees with drafting and reviewing real estate documents such as notices, leases, contracts, deeds and more.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of paralegal experience with a strong background in real estate or related fields such as property management or asset management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated clerical experience including data entry, filing, administrative support, and document review within an office setting.
