Shipping Clerk
Full-Time - 40 hours per week

PacTec, Inc., is the leader in custom engineered packaging solutions for the transportation, construction, industrial, and waste industries. PacTec operates in multiple states, manufacturing and distribution locations across the world.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of shipments, maintaining records, and supporting the overall efficiency of our shipping operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping orders, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
- Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to arrange pickups and deliveries
- Verify shipment details and ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmations
- Inspect outgoing shipments for damages or discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Process orders in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Support other logistics and warehouse activities as needed
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or shipping certifications are a plus
- Proven experience in shipping, warehousing, or logistics roles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and shipments
- Ability to operate shipping software and basic warehouse equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Physical ability to lift and move packages as required
