Pact is the accessible, sustainable apparel brand for everyone who believes in the power of self-care. What you wear closest to your skin, day and night, matters as much as what you put on it. It's skincare you wear.
Pact began in 2009 with a radical idea: you should care what your clothes are made of, not just how they look. Organic food and clean beauty were already part of everyday life, yet closets were still full of conventional cotton, one of the dirtiest crops in the world. We set out to fix that, with GOTS-certified organic cotton made in Fair Trade Certified factories.
We're on a mission to change the apparel industry for good and dress the world in wellness. Tens of thousands of five-star reviews and an expanding consumer base say it's working: we're one of the fastest-growing brands in the market.
The roleWe've spent the last 18 months building our brand foundations: our positioning, mission, values and marketing pillars are now all defined.
Now we need someone to bring it to life across every consumer touchpoint, in a strategic, integrated way: from setting creative direction for a $70M media engine to determining how we show up in retail, wholesale, community events and social.
This role sits on the leadership team of 6 that includes the CEO, Brand President, President of Operations & CFO, Chief Product Officer and Chief Digital Officer.
Who we're looking forA hands-on brand leader who moves fluidly between brand and product storytelling, with a track record of taking a DTC brand from foundation to scale. You bring great taste, strategic range and an entrepreneurial attitude, and you stay immersed in consumers and culture.
- A track record of building and executing brand and product narratives that are compelling and differentiated.
- A product marketer's instinct for what's worth saying about a product.
- Comfortable setting strategy and writing the brief yourself.
- A natural leader and collaborator who instinctively brings people in and along on the journey.
- Brings a strong, proactive point of view, backed by evidence.
- Curious about wellness and sustainability.
- Measures success by brand impact, not headcount or budget.
- Builds AI into daily work.
- Apparel experience is ideal; beauty or wellness also works.
- Digital GTM. Apply brand strategy across owned channels, paid, and product storytelling. You own the brief and the message hierarchy (proof points, product storytelling and brand narrative), so everything stays consistent across channels and consumer touchpoints. Our Chief Digital Officer's team executes the ~$70M paid budget against it.
- Marketing calendar. Own the integrated, merch-driven seasonal marketing calendar: product launches, seasonal moments, promotions, campaigns and partnership activations, so the whole team moves off one plan.
- IRL marketing. Community activations, events, and a compelling in-store experience that bring the brand to life for our consumers.
- Wholesale marketing. Support the marketing needs of our wholesale accounts: merchandising stories and partner-facing materials.
- Organic social. Own the strategy and evolution of our social and content ecosystem: editorial direction, channel strategy and content planning.
- Partnerships, influencers and PR. Own strategic partnerships, collaborations and sponsorships end to end, from deal structuring and creative co-development through execution, performance tracking and renewal decisions. This includes influencer relationships and brand PR, trade and consumer.
- Competitive and cultural intelligence. Maintain a sharp read on the competitive landscape and broader culture, and use it to spot white space and evolve positioning where needed.
- Site conversion. Partner with our Head of CRO to balance brand and performance on-site.
- Claims and certifications. Ensure every brand claim holds up and is communicated clearly to consumers.
- Brand health. Own NPS, unaided brand awareness and branded search as core brand health metrics, balancing brand-building with commercial outcomes like new customer acquisition. Bring a continuous-learning mindset, using results to sharpen go-forward plans and strategy.
- Consumer research. Execute against the learning agenda set by our Chief Product Officer, and partner to distill the insights.
- Packaging. Brief out any new packaging requirements.
Pact is a highly collaborative, fast-moving, entrepreneurial business environment. We run lean and pride ourselves on being scrappy. All leaders play a coach/player role in the business.
Benefits- 401(k) with employer match
- Bonus opportunity
- Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits
- Annual product allowance and generous employee discount on Pact products
