Job Posting: Scheduler -Staffing Coordinator Location: Peninsula Post Acute Salary: Competitive Pay | $74,500-$75,500 per year Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated Staffing Coordinator to join our work family at Peninsula Post Acute. In this vital role, you will be the heartbeat of our nursing department’s operations. Your primary mission is to ensure our facility is always appropriately staffed to meet the needs of our residents, balancing budget and census requirements while working closely with facility administration. Key Responsibilities: Scheduling Excellence: Manage and maintain the nursing department schedule to ensure adequate coverage 24/7. Communication Hub: Act as the primary point of contact for employee calls regarding staffing, scheduling functions, and position availability. Compliance & Records: Complete nursing department employee records timely upon hire, reclassification, or discharge. Employee Support: Assist staff with the accurate completion of leave requests, day-off forms, and time cards. Collaboration: Partner with the Human Resources Director and Director of Nursing (DNS) to manage modified work duty schedules in accordance with restrictions and facility policy. Tracking: Maintain current contact listings for all resident care employees and track daily attendance, including tardiness and absenteeism calendars.
