PACS
Salt Lake, UT Full Time
POSTED ON 4/27/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/25/2026
About PACS

PACS Group, Inc. is a publicly traded post-acute and senior care provider operating 300 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across the country with nearly 50,000 employees. Our technology team supports the platforms that keep our facilities staffed, paid, and compliant — and Workday sits at the center of that mission.

The Opportunity

We are hiring an HRIS Manager (Workday) to lead the technical administration of our core HR technologyplatform. Reporting to the Director of ERP Systems, this manager will own the day-to-day technical health of our Workday HR modules and lead a team of analysts who configure, support, and optimize the platform.

This is a hands-on manager role. You will spend most of your time leading people, triaging technical issues, reviewing configuration work, coordinating with HR and Payroll partners, and keeping the release cadence on track. The ideal candidate has deep Workday configuration experience in multiple HR modules and is ready to step into (or grow within) a leadership role.

Scope of Ownership

Technical Oversight Of The Following Workday Modules

  • HCM
  • Absence
  • Benefits
  • Payroll
  • Time Tracking
  • Learning
  • Recruiting

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HRIS analysts and senior analysts supporting Workday HR modules
  • Set priorities, assign work, and balance ticket queues against project commitments
  • Review configuration, integration, and reporting work before it moves to production

Workday Configuration & Support

  • Oversee configuration and maintenance of Workday HCM, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Learning, and Recruiting
  • Partner hands-on with the team on business processes, security, calculated fields, and custom reports
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex issues across HR modules
  • Own the release cycle for HR modules: feature review, impact assessment, testing, and deployment

Integrations & Data

  • Maintain integrations between Workday HR modules and downstream systems (benefits carriers, time &

attendance, credentialing, payroll tax, clinical platforms)

  • Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate fixes with vendors and internal teams
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits, validation, and corrective actions
  • Support EIBs, Core Connectors, and Studio integrations as needed

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development leaders
  • Translate business needs into configuration solutions and realistic delivery timelines
  • Communicate status, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Coordinate with the Finance/ERP Workday team to keep cross-module dependencies aligned

Compliance & Controls

  • Maintain Workday security, segregation of duties, and audit-ready documentation in support of SOX and

HIPAA Requirements

  • Support internal and external audit requests with timely, accurate evidence
  • Uphold change management, testing, and access review processes

Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or a related field — or equivalent exeperience
  • 5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience across at least three of the listed HR modules
  • 2 years of experience leading teams, projects, or direct reports — formal or informal
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday business processes, security, calculated fields, and reporting
  • Experience supporting a full Workday release cycle end-to-end
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-module issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and HR/Payroll stakeholders

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or other large multi-site, hourly-workforce environments
  • Workday Pro certifications in one or more HR modules
  • Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connector, Studio) and integration troubleshooting
  • Exposure to SOX, HIPAA, and SEC-regulated environments
  • Experience operating in a publicly traded company

  • Ability to work in a primarily office or remote environment with prolonged periods of sitting, focusing on computer-based work and virtual collaboration
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and multiple technology platforms, with the ability to communicate effectively via video, phone, and in-person meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Occasional standing, walking, and movement between office or facility locations for meetings, team engagement, or project activities
  • Visual acuity required to analyze data, review system configurations, reports, and technical documentation
  • May require minimal lifting of up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., laptop, materials, or office equipment)
  • Ability to travel occasionally, as needed, to support multi-site operations, team leadership, or implementation activities
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
