Responsibilities include: Set up meal trays and assist with meal service Prepare snacks and nourishments for residents Wash dishes and operate commercial dishwashing equipment Monitor and record dishwasher water temperatures and sanitizer levels Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, refrigerators, and storage areas Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors Remove trash and maintain a clean work environment Stock and organize food deliveries safely Assist cooks and dietary leadership with daily kitchen operations Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to provide excellent resident care Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Food service, restaurant, hospital, or healthcare dietary experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain upon hire) Ability to follow recipes and written instructions Strong work ethic and attention to detail Dependable, positive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Why Alhambra Post Acute?
