Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze maintenance, inspection, and condition-assessment data
- Build interactive dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI or Tableau
- Perform predictive‐analytics and statistical modeling to forecast failure risk
- Present data‐driven recommendations to WMATA maintenance and engineering teams
- Document data workflows, assumptions, and validation procedures
- Bachelor’s in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
- 3 years’ experience in data analysis for infrastructure or transit operations
- Proficient in SQL, Python/R, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong analytical mindset and experience with predictive‐modeling techniques
- Excellent visualization and storytelling skills
