We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in glass installation, fabrication, and general construction tasks. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in various structures, ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and client specifications. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications.
- Fabricate glass pieces as needed for specific projects.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of glass panels safely.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while on the job site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
