What You Will Do
- Develop technical and cost estimates for automation, controls, instrumentation, and validation projects
- Review project specifications, engineering documents, and client requirements
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to define project scope and execution strategies
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical information
- Help identify the most effective technical solutions for client needs
- Participate in proposal development and client discussions
- Support projects across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food & beverage, and industrial manufacturing environments
- Build relationships with clients, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
- Influence projects before execution begins
- Expand your business, commercial, and technical skillset
- Gain visibility into project strategy and decision-making
- Build a path toward leadership, business development, or operations management
- Contribute to high-impact projects supporting leading manufacturers
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Industrial Automation
- Controls Engineering
- Instrumentation
- Validation (CQV)
- System Integration
- Process Automation
- Project Engineering
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and project scopes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience developing project estimates, proposals, or technical documentation
- Client-facing engineering experience
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation systems, process automation, validation activities, or industrial control systems.
