Internship Position: Device R&D Intern
Duration: 9 weeks
Compensation: $20 per hour, 30 - 35 hours per week
Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our R&D team. The intern will assist with projects that including supporting next generation new product development and sustaining engineering of existing product portfolio. This is a great opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience and contribute to Pacira's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with prototype production/testing and special projects
- Conduct research and analyze data to support departmental projects.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals.
- Attend meetings and provide input on departmental initiatives.
- Present final project(s) to key stakeholders within department
- In addition to project work, the intern will have the opportunity to participate in lunch and learn activities, trainings and interactions with senior leadership
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program as a full-time rising Junior or Senior.
- Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering/Computer Science, Graphics Design, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Maintain a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
