Department Overview
Position Summary
Provides business intelligence for decision-making and operational
performance. Plans and forecasts by establishing targets and monitor
construction hours/unit. Analyzes and reports the variances between
budget and actual.
Job Responsibilities
Performs analysis on highly complex data models that have cross-functional impact and presents recommendations.
Works with department to develop budget (expense, capital, and expenditures), and monitor, forecast and report on budget performance.
Presents findings and makes recommendations to management or others within organization.
Develops and tracks metrics that provide data for process measurement, business operations or risk assessment and may present findings to leadership.
Communicates (oral and written) recommendations and findings to leaders and officers.
Leads complex and major projects which may be cross functional.
Assists with the implementation of process improvements and efficiencies.
Leads the development of the Scorecards that are used to measure ongoing performance.
Performs research internally and externally.
Qualifications
Minimum:
High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
Utility industry experience, or other job-related, 6 years
Desired:
Experience in business planning
Experience in electric operations
Experience with SAP
