Department Overview
Position Summary
Provides business intelligence for decision-making and operational
performance. Plans and forecasts by establishing targets and monitor
construction hours/unit. Analyzes and reports the variances between
budget and actual.
Job Responsibilities
Develops tactical plans to deal with various cost drivers and emerging issues
Leads local, regional, or system-wide special initiatives
Presents financial findings and provides recommendations
Provides counsel and guidance to less experienced peers, leadership team and Program Managers on operational performance management issues, tools and measurement
Reviews cost monitoring systems to ensure that adequate controls are in place to uncover and correct erroneous charges
SME regarding division budget and operations
Trains or acts as mentor to less experienced Analysts
Qualifications
Minimum:
High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
Utility industry experience, or related, 6 years
Desired:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in business planning, or related
Experience with SAP
