We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary mental health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and risk assessments.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with careful monitoring of efficacy and side effects.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, medication management, and psychoeducation.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for documentation and clinical workflows.
- Provide crisis intervention and triage services for patients experiencing acute psychiatric episodes or emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication adherence, and coping strategies to foster recovery and resilience.
Experience
- Valid certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with current state licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in behavioral health settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, or inpatient units.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation.
- Experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles and medication management protocols.
- Exposure to crisis intervention techniques, triage procedures, and acute care management.

Pay: $69.75 - $84.00 per hour
