We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable professional to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary:
As an Accounts Payable, you will play a key role in managing and processing the accounts payable (AP) for multiple hotel properties using the M3 software system. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining accurate records across our hotel portfolio.
Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors across multiple hotel locations.
- Manage the accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and ensuring payments are made in accordance with company policies.
- Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments or invoices.
- Collaborate with hotel managers and other departments to ensure accurate financial information and resolve AP-related inquiries.
- Monitor accounts payable aging reports to ensure timely payment and minimize overdue accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly accruals and general ledger entries related to accounts payable transactions.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and audits.
- Assist the finance department with ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., M3, QuickBooks, ADP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong understanding of accounts payable procedures and invoice management.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
