We are seeking a direct hire Sr Commissioning Engineer (60% travel) for a Global Leader in Aerospace, Aviation, Defense and Renewable Energy Test Systems in Indianapolis, Indiana

Salary 100k-120k

Relocation is available.

In this role you will commission and troubleshoot advanced test benches, work across mechanical/electrical/Control systems, support customers on-site,

And take ownership of projects through final acceptance

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering,

 6 years of working with Complex Machinery or Automation

Strong Hands-on Troubleshooting

Strong aptitude in one or more of the following areas: mechanical, electrical/electronic, and programming.

Professional experience in special machine construction and plant commissioning.

Knowledge of PLC programming (e.g. Beckhoff/TwinCAT or Siemens S7/TIA-Portal)

Knowledge of control and drive technology

Good written and spoken English skills

Willingness to make regular worldwide business trips.

Up to 60% travel required including extended stays.
