SENIOR MANAGER, CONTRACTS – DEFENSE
Location: Northampton, MA | Onsite
Salary: $190,000–$200,000
Schedule: 9/80 – Every other Friday off
Clearance: Active Secret Required
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Contracts to lead a team of contracts professionals supporting complex Defense/Aerospace programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Contracts professionals.
- Manage RFP reviews, risk assessments, proposals, negotiations, contract administration and change management.
- Develop negotiation and contract strategies for complex programs.
- Partner with U.S. Government and commercial customers on contractual matters.
- Resolve complex contracting issues and mitigate business risk.
- Serve as the primary Contracts point of contact for assigned programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR and CAS.
- Strong experience with government contract types including CPFF, FFP, IF and AF.
- Experience with FAR Part 15 negotiations and U.S. Government contracts.
- Proven contracts leadership and negotiation experience.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Ability to work onsite in Northampton, MA.
- Occasional travel.
NCMA certification (CFCM, CPCM or CCCM) is preferred but not required.
