Develop and implement on-site recreational, educational and social programs and activities for youth and adult residents such as homework tutoring, reading programs, arts & crafts, financial education, job counseling, community building and recreational activities.
THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION to work up to 14 hours per week. Work days are flexible Monday to Friday between 2pm to 6pm.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with social service agencies.
Develop and maintain a professional relationship with the property manager.
Conduct classes to include homework tutoring, arts & crafts, job counseling etc.
Conduct community meetings to promote programs and activities.
Serve as an informational resource for community services for the residents.
Provide continual outreach to residents to increase and maintain attendance.
Identify and evaluate the needs of residents in order to establish priority services.
Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities.
Participate in PSCDC meetings and training sessions.
Prepare program progress reports as requested.
Additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
