Project Engineer – Responsibilities
- Support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination and administration
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams
- Track schedules, project timelines, and action items
- Participate in job walks, project meetings, and site coordination
- Support project closeout and turnover documentation
Project Engineer – Required Experience & Skills
- Experience supporting commercial construction projects in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role
- Understanding of construction schedules, blueprints, specifications, and project timelines
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software ie: Procore or Bluebeam
- Experience with MS Project preferred
Project Engineer – Benefits for You
