What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Aide/Tech position at Pacific Rehab and Physical Therapy?
We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Technician/Aide to join our outpatient medical and physical therapy practice in the area of Randallstown, MD.
This is an ideal role for someone who:
- Loves talking to people and helping people feel welcome
- Takes initiative and has a willingness to learn
- Enjoys interacting with diverse groups of people
- Has excellent communication skills and an upbeat personality
- Has experience working with patients in a medical setting
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Must own a vehicle for transportation to and from the clinic locations.
Job Description:
- Assist clinicians with set up of patient exercises
- Monitor treatment under direct supervision of licensed PT
- Set up patients with hot/cold packs and other physical therapy equipment
- Maintain appropriate supply of inventory on a daily basis
- Clean and sterilize physical therapy equipment in accordance with clinics standards
- Enthusiastically engage with patients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and comfort
- Participate in any other projects as directed by the clinician staff
