Growing Physical Therapy Company is currently looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide quality patient care at our Outpatient clinic located in the area of Baltimore/Essex, MD.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, by the Board of Medicine.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Duties:
- Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients with various musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the physical therapist.
- Monitor and record patient progress during treatment sessions.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with the physical therapist to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding treatment goals and progress.
