Director of Operations

Company Description: Pacific Properties Management is a property management company based in Galveston, Texas, serving properties across Galveston Island and the Bolivar Peninsula. Our in-house team handles everything from guest relations and marketing to maintenance and repairs, delivering hands-on, proactive care that keeps owners and guests coming back. We're a small team with big standards, and we're growing.

Role Description: We're hiring a Director of Operations to own execution across the entire company. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role covering both sides of the business, field operations (guest turnovers, maintenance, inspections, vendor coordination) and back-office administration (owner reporting, financial oversight, systems, and process). You'll build the operating backbone that lets Pacific scale without losing the proactive, five-star care our owners and guests expect, and you'll work directly with ownership on strategy, hiring, and performance.

Compensation: $48,000-$55,000/year, based on experience.

What You'll Own:

• Field operations: staffing, scheduling, and quality control across our in-house maintenance and turnover teams
• Back-office operations: financial reporting, owner statements, vendor and channel management, and process documentation
• Building the systems and playbooks that let Pacific scale without sacrificing the five-star, proactive care our owners and guests expect
• Partnering directly with ownership on strategy, hiring, and performance

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in property management, hospitality, or short-term rental operations; multi-property portfolio experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable in the field and behind a spreadsheet, equally at home coordinating a maintenance crew and reviewing owner financials
• A builder's mindset, comfortable creating structure and process in a growing company
• Based in Galveston, TX or nearby.
