Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually (based on experience)

We’re seeking an engaging, relationship-driven Field Service Manager to lead a talented team of technicians in our El Cajon, CA location. What You’ll Do
- Lead and Inspire: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians, creating a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with customers, team members, and partners to ensure long-term satisfaction and trust.
- Coach for Success: Provide regular feedback, performance reviews, and on-the-job guidance to help your team excel.
- Coordinate Workflow: Oversee scheduling, prioritize service calls, and align technician strengths to meet customer and operational needs.
- Foster Communication: Keep open communication between field staff, leadership, and customers to ensure issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Promote Excellence: Maintain high safety standards, ensure quality service, and drive continuous improvement in performance and processes.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with sales, support, and operations to deliver seamless customer service from start to finish.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in service department operations (power generation, mechanical, or electrical systems preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience supervising or managing field service technicians.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop individuals and teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to build rapport and trust with employees and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workflow, prioritize effectively, and maintain high performance standards.
- Proven track record of ensuring safety compliance and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Management, or Technical discipline).
- Experience with generators, diesel and gaseous engines, and power systems.
- Familiarity with service management software or ERP systems.
