What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice Plumber General Laborer position at Pacific Plumbing Co?
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice General laborer who is able to work independently and as part of a team, follow instructions accurately, and use tools safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work in all weather conditions - including extreme heat (majority of work is outdoors).
- Perform regularly and repeated physical labor such as lifting, carrying, and digging.
- Load and unload materials from trucks.
- Clean up job sites after work is completed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and other construction personnel.
- Follow safety protocols and use proper protective equipment
- Understand basic plumbing concepts.
Requirements:
- Must be a Section 3 Resident (e.g. A public housing resident; or A low- or very low-income resident)
- Proof of Residency (Must reside in the City Clearlake, Ca)
- Proof of Income
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Identification for eligibility to work in the U.S.
Pay: Prevailing Wage Commensurate with Experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $35.25 per hour
