Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of schematics and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential improvements.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide field service support for plumbing emergencies as needed.
- Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing installations or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
