Human Resource Specialist
Responsible for HR compliance for a one thousand employee Japanese owned tier one automotive supplier.
Assistance for Benefits Administration:
Assist in the design and administration of employee benefits programs.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly invoices and reconciliation for payment to benefit vendors.
Lead the open enrollment process, including communication, employee education, and enrollment tracking.
Conduct wage, benefit surveys, and submit summaries of findings.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure I-9 documentation is accurate, and all records are current as per federal law.
Maintain employee records in electronic filing system.
Ensure compliance with federal and state HR related regulations.
Maintain employee record files and transfer manual records to electronic filing.
Prepare and submit necessary reports, including 5500s, to regulatory agencies.
Conduct internal annual audits and compliance testing. Maintain HR records for outside auditor review.
Employee Support:
Responsible for company FMLA program.
Ensure all training records are current.
Responsible for updating and maintaining company employee handbook.
Assist to develop company wellness program.
Coordinate company appraisal system.
Responsible for company vehicle administration.
Experience and skill:
· Required minimum four years’ experience in HR Generalist work, especially for record compliance and administration.
· Required strong experience for Microsoft software, especially MS Word and Excel.
· Experience in administering I-9 and FMLA documentation.

- 1st Shift - Mon to Fri 7:30 to 4:15pm flex schedule
