DELVE DEEPER INTO THIS METALWORKING JOB
This carpentry position follows a steady Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A typical day might look like this:
- Review project plans and organize required materials
- Cut, shape, and weld steel components with precision
- Measure, assemble, and complete detailed carpentry tasks
- Fabricate custom steel frames and architectural elements
- Install and align both wood and metal structures
- Fine-tune details to ensure quality, durability, and visual appeal

THE TYPE OF CARPENTER - ARCHITECTURAL SHEET METAL WORKER WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 10 years of journeyman-level workmanship on-site or in the field
- Strong ability to review blueprints, understand project scope, and plan effectively
- Experience measuring, cutting, and assembling wood components
- Skilled in installing cabinets, repairing damaged structures, and performing framework tasks
- Knowledge of standard building codes and practices
- Ability to install windows, door frames, and perform finish work
- Experience working in hospital/medical clinic settings, including office, lobby, and room refresh projects
- Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
