We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist who wants to join an award-winning company! As an Account Specialist, you will be a valuable team member providing a variety of financial and accounting support for our team!
Job Responsibilities may include
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with yearend Workers Comp and Financial Audit
- Assist with payroll registration of company in new states
- Prepare files for AP invoices, checks, and daily deposits
- Assist with reconciliation of American Express Credit Card
- Assist with new projects in relation to Finance
- Performs credit check for new clients as needed
- Maintains Financial accounts reconciliation and GL’s
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
- Understanding of QuickBooks and bookkeeping software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer processing skills and the ability to adapt to new programs
- Resourceful and creative process improvement skills
- Detailed oriented with exceptional self-awareness and accountability
- Plus if experience in; Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, Bullhorn, and Paycom
Education and Experience
- 1 years of experience in finance, Accounting, and AP/AR
- BA or BS, Accounting degree preferred
