OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support financial operations in our construction company. This role manages daily accounting functions, ensures accurate reporting, and supports the Controller with analysis and compliance.
KEY RESONSIBILITIES
- Manage AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Support month-end close and reporting.
- Track job costs and WIP.
- Assist with AIA billings and compliance.
- Support internal controls and staff training.
- Provide financial reports to the Controller
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA preferred).
- 5 years of accounting experience, construction preferred.
- Knowledge of job costing, WIP, and AIA billings.
- ERP/accounting systems (Spectrum, Sage 300 CRE).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $85,000 – $110,000 salary
