  • Model and promote company values of Safety, Quality, Service, and Integrity.
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements to sanitation standards, procedures, and training.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • Experience operating a pallet jack and/or forklift (preferred).
  • Team-first mindset with sound judgment and the ability to make decisions in the company’s best interest.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially when meeting deadlines and coordinating with other departments.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with individuals at all levels of the company, including documenting and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and working knowledge of Prepared Foods department processes and workflow.
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures; chemical concentration/testing; surface testing; and chemical use in a three-step sanitation process.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around processing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices.
