What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgery Stocker position at PACIFIC CATARACT & LASER INSTITUTE?
OBJECTIVE
In a positive and cheerful manner, support and work alongside the Physician and other members of the surgical team to provide an outstanding patient experience. Work with the team to assure that the PCLI philosophy of quality and caring treatment of patients and staff is upheld in all daily surgical activities. This position is responsible for ensuring the surgery suite is properly stocked and that all supplies and equipment are available, ready for use and can easily be accessed.

Corporate Surgery Manager
STATUS
3/4 time (30-39 hours per week)
SCHEDULE
Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Depending on work location, employee may be required to report to work between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm on scheduled days.
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Good communication skills-written and verbal and legible handwriting

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Excellent problem solving skills
- The ability to work with a team and to achieve common goals
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
- Neat, clean appearance
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strength and balance adequate to assist handicapped patients as necessary
- Ability to work occasional long hours with limited breaks
- Good hearing and visual acuity *testing required upon hire date and annually thereafter
- Must have distance vision of 20/40 with or without correction. Correction must be worn while at work
- Able to sit/stand for long periods of time
ADDITIONAL TRAINING
- WA Surgical Tech Registered - training & fee provided (WA State, Portland, Tualatin, Lewiston)
- WA Medical Assistant Registered
