What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Staff Accountant position at PACIFIC CATARACT & LASER INSTITUTE?
OBJECTIVE
To assist in the preparation and reconciliation of the monthly financial statements, and maintaining books of record, completing spreadsheets, and reconciling specific accounts.
REPORTS TO
Finance Director
STATUS
3/4 Time (30-39 hours per week)
SCHEDULE
Monday –Thursday 8:00 am - 5 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Schedule may vary.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Associate of Arts degree in accounting or closely allied field (experience may substitute for education)
- Three years of accounting experience is preferred
- Detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer skills proficient in Excel, Word and Adobe; prior experience with computer accounting software
- Intermediate accounting skills
