Janitor

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented FT Night Janitor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our commercial or industrial premises 8hours a day, 5 days a week (FT). The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and custodial services, with a focus on maintaining a high standard of hygiene and facility appearance. This is a union position, based out of Bellevue imbeaded with our floor crew.

Duties

• Will provide support to accounts in Seattle, Bellevue and outer King County
• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Handle custodial responsibilities including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies.
• Utilize industrial cleaning tools and techniques for deep cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain detailed logs of completed tasks and report any issues or damages to management promptly.
• Other duties as assigned

• Valid WA driver's license
• Ability to communicate in English
• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services, including commercial or industrial cleaning.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy objects when necessary, and stand for extended periods.
• Prior experience in commercial or residential floor care duties is advantageous but not required. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants while offering consistent employment during overnight hours.
