Location: Vernon, CA
Compensation: $70k-$85k
Monday- Friday 9am-6pm.
PAFCO is a 24-hour production and 7 days, the supervisor will need to be flexible to come in on weekends/nights/various hours to support the team as needed.
The supervisor will also be managing the janitorial staff as well.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule sanitation staff to ensure the facility is cleaned effectively and efficiently in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Ensure cleaning procedures meet all FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company sanitation standards.
- Train sanitation employees on safe chemical handling, equipment cleaning procedures, and personal hygiene standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of processing equipment, facility infrastructure, and employee practices to ensure compliance.
- Document sanitation procedures, cleaning schedules, and inspections using logs and reports.
- Communicate and coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to ensure cleaning schedules align with production needs.
- Monitor and control inventory of sanitation supplies and chemicals.
- Assist in root cause analysis of sanitation-related issues, such as contamination or allergen risks.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure the sanitation team follows proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing or seafood processing environment.
- 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret SDS (Safety Data Sheets), sanitation procedures, and equipment manuals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overnight, depending on production schedules.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Must be able to work in cold, wet, and humid environments.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regular exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents (with proper PPE).
