Position Summary

The Bilingual English/Spanish Training Interpreter supports the training process by providing real-time interpretation between English-speaking trainers and Spanish-speaking employees. This position ensures employees clearly understand job duties, safety requirements, work instructions, quality standards, and company policies during hands-on training and daily operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide verbal interpretation between English-speaking trainers, supervisors, and Spanish-speaking employees.
• Translate job instructions, procedures, work methods, and safety requirements during training.
• Observe trainers demonstrating tasks and clearly communicate instructions to Spanish-speaking employees.
• Ensure employees understand operational, safety, quality, and production expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality when interpreting sensitive workplace conversations, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and other professional matters.

Qualifications / Must-Haves

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical, operational, and safety-related information.
• Ability to follow safe working techniques and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding professional and employee-related matters.
• Ability and willingness to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility during training activities.
• Ability to observe job tasks and communicate instructions clearly.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
