Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Duration: 3 Months
Schedule: Part-Time | 29 Hours per Week
Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule flexibility will be discussed based on candidate availability.
Pay Range: $20 - $24/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling high-volume shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring proper packaging and transportation procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage temperature-sensitive materials, and a commitment to maintaining organized and efficient warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Experience packing and unpacking deliveries in a warehouse or shipping environment
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
- Experience coordinating shipments using UPS and FedEx systems/software
- Knowledge of handling temperature-sensitive materials, including refrigerated and room-temperature medications
- Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve shipping or receiving issues efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clean and structured workspaces
- Ability to assist with inventory cycle counts and supply tracking
- Capable of lifting materials, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and performing physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow operational and safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and unpack incoming and outgoing shipments
- Handle refrigerated and room-temperature medications using appropriate temperature-controlled packaging materials
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
- Coordinate package transportation through UPS and FedEx software platforms
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain clean shipping and receiving stations
- Assist with cycle counts, monthly inventory audits, and supply monitoring
- Identify and resolve shipping, storage, and receiving discrepancies promptly
- Create and prepare medical supply kits for distribution
- Monitor shipping supply inventory and initiate replenishment requests as needed
- Report damaged shipments and maintain operational records
- Support additional warehouse and departmental duties as assigned by supervisors or department leads
