SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

• Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional SME

• Hands-on experience working across multiple Oracle Cloud Payroll Implementation and Support projects

• Deep technical-functional knowledge of Payroll Fast Formulas, including the ability to develop, test, and maintain them

• Strong expertise managing and processing end-to-end payroll operations for large-scale US employee bases

• Solid understanding of federal, state, and local US payroll regulations and compliance frameworks

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Experience integrating Oracle Cloud Payroll with broader HCM, HR, and downstream financial systems

• Strong capability in designing automated testing scenarios for payroll calculations

• Experience with advanced payroll reporting, data analysis, and dashboarding for executive decision-making

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Elite Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant for a business-critical, fully onsite engagement in Dearborn, MI supporting a global automotive leader. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the incumbent will drive the continuous implementation, optimization, and support of Oracle Cloud Payroll systems. This role demands a strong technical-functional blend, heavily focusing on building robust Fast Formulas to automate complex payroll calculations, ensuring absolute compliance with US regulations, and ensuring seamless integration across corporate HR and financial domains.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee complex US payroll operations, ensuring high-accuracy, timely processing, and seamless integration across enterprise HR and finance landscapes.

• Own the functional configuration, maintenance, and support of Oracle Cloud Payroll modules, translating complex business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.

• Architect, develop, test, and modify sophisticated Payroll Fast Formulas to automate specialized calculations, deductions, and processing rules.

• Safeguard payroll integrity by monitoring and aligning configurations with ever-changing federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.

• Identify operational bottlenecks and spearhead process improvement initiatives to maximize payroll cycle efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

• Generate, reconcile, and analyze comprehensive payroll reports to deliver actionable data-driven insights to leadership.

• Partner closely with cross-functional HR, IT, and Finance teams to drive alignment, troubleshoot integration errors, and manage system updates.
