SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have):
• Advanced OS Knowledge & Troubleshooting | Windows, Mac, and Linux (Ubuntu) desktop environments, shell scripts, and Pearl
• Pharma & Regulatory Experience | Manufacturing, Labs, and Logistics experience with GxP, GMP, and change management processes
• Enterprise Desktop Support | Complex break-fix troubleshooting, hardware/software installation, Outlook, and office automation tools
Secondary (Good to Have):
• Windows Domain and Azure knowledge | Intermediate Windows Server and LAN environment understanding
• Audio/Video setup and troubleshooting | Printer maintenance and Cloud Security/Management exposure
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to IT leadership within the desktop services department, this position provides complex technical support and planning for advanced tech-savvy end users in the medical robotics and pharma sector. The incumbent will diagnose and resolve distributed computer environment challenges, manage hardware/software life cycles, and ensure seamless technical operations across manufacturing and lab environments.
ROLES & Responsibilities
• Provide complex technical support and coordination for end-user touch points, including desktop, software, and hardware installation and distribution
• Perform analysis, diagnosis, installation, and resolution of complex desktop computers, operating systems, and application software
• Act as a technical liaison with user groups and IT partners, partnering with business units to understand the business impact of support issues
• Execute desktop technology life cycle management processes including technology procurement, refresh, disposition, and technical documentation
• Coordinate schedules and technical work order instructions for installations, moves, adds, and changes while updating the inventory database and trouble tickets
