Location: 8700 Beverly Blvd, West Hollywood, CA (90048)

Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate: $27 Max

Job Overview

Responsible for the verification, storage, and timely distribution of medical supplies and equipment across the Medical Center. The role requires collaboration with the Supply Chain team to ensure efficient operations and proper stock levels at all par locations.

Job Summary

Under indirect supervision, the Central Supply Technician will receive and verify incoming medical supplies, respond to supply requests, deliver and stock clean equipment, and transport items to patient areas efficiently and safely.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supply Verification and Storage

• Verify incoming supplies and ensure proper storage at various par locations, including:
• Nurse servers
• Isolation gowns and masks
• Sterile Processing
• Operating Room, GI Lab, Labor and Delivery
• Inspect and rotate supplies to ensure sterile packaging integrity and current expiration dates
• Remove expired items and maintain knowledge of packaging and par levels

1. Transportation of Supplies and Equipment

• Deliver requested supplies and equipment to patient areas across the Medical Center campus promptly

1. Request Management

• Receive supply/equipment requests by telephone
• Communicate priority levels to Supply Chain team members, especially STAT requests

1. Stocking and Inventory Management

• Timely and proper put-away of nurse server carts and case cart totes
• Fill out order sheets to maintain pre-determined par levels
• Perform cycle counts of Central Issues Inventory to ensure accurate system reflection

1. Waste and Equipment Handling

• Proper disposal, handling, and/or storage of trash and equipment related to tasks

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of related hospital or inventory experience, particularly handling medical supplies or equipment
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
