What are the responsibilities and job description for the Managing Director position at Pacer ETFs?
Pacer ETFs is looking to add an External Wholesaler to cover the Central California market, focused on RIAs and National Broker Dealers. This is a high-impact territory with strong existing relationships and real upside for someone who knows how to build, close, and grow.
Pacer ETFs launched in 2015 and has grown to $40B in assets by staying focused on differentiated strategies and a sales culture built on activity, accountability, and winning as a team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and grow a defined territory across RIAs and National BDs
- Build deep relationships with advisors through consistent in-person meetings and follow-up
- Partner tightly with your internal to drive activity, set meetings, and convert opportunities
- Identify new assets, uncover opportunities, and move business through the pipeline
- Run your territory like a business…planning, prioritizing, and executing daily
- Deliver clear, confident product positioning tied to real advisor needs
What matters in this role:
- Proven ability to drive sales, not just maintain relationships
- High activity level…you’re comfortable being on the road and in front of advisors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify investment ideas
- Competitive mindset with a focus on results and accountability
- Ability to handle objections, ask for the business, and close
Requirements:
- Series 7 and 63 required (65 or 66)
- Clean U5
