Job Summary

Paceline is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Knitting Department as Knitter I team members. This is an entry-level manufacturing position supporting production through material handling, packing, and basic knitting department operations. No prior knitting experience required — training provided.

Responsibilities

• Doffing rolls once completed and restarting the machine
• Creeling yarn throughout the shift
  • Inspect the yarn and cones
  • Tie off the tails for transitions
  • Tie off broken yarn
  • Blown yarn through the feeder tubes
  • Ensure storage feeders are wrapped correctly
• Understand information on the production travelers
  • Log production by weight tracking form
  • Identify correct raw materials (yarn)
• Transfer grey good material from production into inventory
  • Operate scale system correctly
  • Print accurate labels
  • Organize grey goods to be moved to the warehouse
• Blow off knitting machines
• Maintain a clean work environment
  • Sweep the production floor
  • Empty trash bins
  • Organize extra material to maximize operational space
  • Execute shift transition

Qualifications

• Entry-level; manufacturing experience a plus but not required
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Dependable and punctual
