What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Analyst position at Pace Staffing Network?
We’re partnering with a well-established medical supply distributor seeking a Purchasing Analyst to support purchasing, sourcing, and logistics operations. This role is a key member of the purchasing team and works closely with leadership to source products, manage vendor relationships, and support inventory and resource planning in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Source products domestically and internationally, including identifying and evaluating new manufacturers
• Support purchasing activities within a manufacturing and distribution environment
• Manage pricing, negotiate with freight carriers and brokers, and support logistics coordination
• Assist with inventory management, demand planning, and resource planning
• Support new product launches, including artwork coordination and exclusive branding initiatives
• Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to support efficiency, cost savings, and decision-making
What Your Work History Should Show
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
• Experience sourcing products overseas (China, India, or similar markets preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency; Access experience strongly preferred
• Experience extracting, analyzing, and reporting data to improve procurement performance
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SysPro, Sage, MS Dynamics, or similar
• Strong organization, time management, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor’s degree required

Location: Tukwila, WA (100% onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $43 - $48 per hour
Compliance Requirements: COVID-19 vaccination required, non-smoking environment
