We’re partnering with an organization seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume AP processing, reconciliations, and financial record management. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
What You’ll Be Doing…
• Process Accounts Payable transactions daily, including invoice review, reimbursement processing, and data entry
• Review invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Maintain financial records, grant-related fiscal documents, and tuition obligation/accrual tracking
• Perform reconciliations including credit card and insurance statement reviews
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding reimbursements, invoices, and payment verification
• Utilize systems such as Financial Edge, Salesforce, Monday.com, and SharePoint to maintain accurate accounting records
Here’s What Your Work History Needs to Show as Evidence That You’re the Right Candidate…
• 2 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
• Experience processing invoices, reconciliations, reimbursements, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn financial and database systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with professionalism and integrity
• AA in Accounting, Bookkeeping Certificate, or equivalent experience preferred
Additional Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM
Location: Hybrid schedule after training (3 days onsite weekly, including Monday and Wednesday)
Training: 100% onsite for the first 3 weeks
Assignment Length: 6-month contract with potential temp-to-hire opportunity
Pay Rate: $24.00–$30.00 per hour DOE
Start Date: ASAP
Requirements: Background check required. Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License and reliable insured transportation.
