Occupational Therapist (OT)

PACE is currently searching for enthusiastic, energetic and team oriented Occupational Therapists to work with the Moderate to Severe student population that range from 2 years to 21 years of age. The Occupational Therapists at PACE strive to increase the independence in activities of the school day, academics, work, leisure, and self care. They collaborate with the students and their families along with the other professionals, including special education teachers, speech language pathologists and the instructional specialists, in order to provide dynamic and skilled direct treatment to reach the students’ goals. The Occupational Therapist will need to have the ability to plan, develop and execute treatment plans for the students. The individual will be responsible for developing the OT goals for the students on their case load. In addition the incumbent must be able to collaborate with other pertinent staff to discuss the students’ needs, their progress and to share knowledge and strategies on improving goals.
