CDL B Driver – Home Daily | 4-Day Work Week | $25-$27/HR
We are currently hiring a CDL B Driver for a local delivery position with a consistent schedule, excellent benefits, and home daily routes. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for a steady weekday position with overtime potential and long weekends every week.
Pay & Schedule
- $25 - $27 per hour depending on experience
- Monday – Thursday schedule
- Home Daily
- Start time between 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM
- Typically working around 10 hours per day
- Average 45 hours per week
- Some overtime available
Position Details
- Driving an automatic double-sided curtain side truck
- Average 8–9 stops per day
- Average 400 miles per day
- Delivering laminate products, particle board, and materials used for kitchen cabinets and countertops
- Trucks are preloaded before routes begin
- Most deliveries are customer unloaded
- Some unloading may be required with boxes weighing up to 60 lbs
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicle and complete deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Report any delivery or vehicle issues to management
- Keep truck clean and presentable
- Perform daily inspections and follow DOT safety regulations
- Assist with back-hauls when assigned
Requirements
- Valid CDL B license required
- CDL A drivers are encouraged to apply
- Prefer 1 year of CDL driving experience
- Open to recent CDL school graduates
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to safely operate and inspect commercial vehicles
- ELD experience preferred
- Strong attendance and reliability
