Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in San Antonio, TX for a Logistics & Warehouse Support Associate. The associate will handle day-to-day tasks including shipping and receiving, packing orders, unloading deliveries, and using pallet jacks for material handling. Responsibilities will also include maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Core Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect & certify incoming aviation items as per FAA documentation.
- Conduct outgoing shipment verification: weight, label, hazmat compliance, customs declarations.
- Execute accurate inventory control using barcode, ID & QC protocols.
- Ensure quality control process is maintained and improved.
- Schedule domestic and international transport with carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc).
- Maintain audit-ready records: part traceability, expiration dates, storage conditions.
*Proper training will be provided.
Qualifications
- One year verifiable experience in warehousing, shipping, industrial engineering, quality control, or technical aviation.
- Pursuing or completed degree: supply-chain, aerospace engineering, business logistics, aviation maintenance or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Salesforce, computing systems in general; comfort learning new software platforms. IT literacy is a plus.
- Physical capabilities: ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Clean professional appearance.
- Preferred - familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 or any QC standards.
- Basic understanding of aviation part numbers (PN, SN, ATA chapters).
