Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Head Chef position located in Deerfield Beach, FL. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation, and staff leadership in a full-service restaurant setting. Responsibilities include developing creative dishes, maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness, managing inventory and budgets, and training kitchen staff. The Head Chef will ensure all meals are prepared with excellence while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Culinary Arts, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Strong leadership, team management, and staff training skills
- Experience in inventory control, cost management, and supplier relationships
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to maintain quality and consistency under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in event catering or high-volume settings is a plus
- Culinary certification or relevant education is preferred
