What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Driver (door to door), senior care, clean driving record, 30-40 hours position at PA Transportation Services?
Transportation Service provider in Bethlehem is currently seeking a Driver to transport Seniors from daycare in Lehigh Valley using a 14 passenger minibus. Position will undergo training on handling frail passengers and transporting passengers in wheelchairs. Ongoing wheelchair transportation will be required.
Part-time Working Hours (35 hours / week) in addition to overtime:
6:30 to 4PM, Monday to Friday, 1 hour unpaid break
One or two Saturdays per month.
This position REQUIRES a minimum of five years of clean & safe driving experience and be comfortable with driving throughout Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties.
Position utilizes company vehicle, and no Commercial Drivers License is required.
Qualifications:
- This individual shall be 23 years of age or older
- possess a clean driver’s license for at least 5 years, Criminal, DMV Background check, Drug & Alcohol tests are required this position.
- Must Pass a DOT Physical and Drug Test or have obtained a DOT medical card
- Must be trainable on securing wheelchairs into vehicles
- Maintain a strong attendance record, and must report to work on time
- Follow company safety and operational rules and procedures
- Must be able to maintain proper documentation of all transport services
- Attend mandatory trainings as needed for the job function
