Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Adult Ballroom Latin Swing Dance Instructor located in Hummelstown, PA. The instructor will be responsible for teaching ballroom, Latin and swing dance styles to adult students. Daily tasks include planning and developing dance lessons, providing dance education and instruction, choreographing routines, and preparing students for performances or wedding dances. The role also involves evaluating student progress and offering individualized feedback to help improve their skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dance Instruction,
- Teaching and Dance Education is not required; we will train
- Strong knowledge and skills in various styles of Dance such as ballroom, Latin, and swing is preferred
- An understanding of Music and its relationship to dance routines is helpful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong ability to engage and motivate students
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with adult learners is a plus
- Formal dance education or certification is beneficial
