Position Summary
P4R Wholesale is seeking a dependable, hands-on Production Systems & Maintenance Technician to
support our manufacturing operations by maintaining facility equipment, improving production systems,
and assisting with day-to-day manufacturing activities. This role combines equipment maintenance,
technical troubleshooting, process improvement, and production support. The ideal candidate enjoys
solving problems, is comfortable working with both machinery and computers, and is eager to help
improve operational efficiency.
This position requires strong teamwork and collaboration with multiple departments, including
Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Management. A willingness to assist wherever needed and
contribute to overall operational success is essential. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production
equipment remains operational, manufacturing systems continue to improve, and daily production
activities run efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Coordinate repairs with equipment manufacturers and outside service providers.
- Communicate with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and contractors to troubleshoot issues,
order replacement parts, and coordinate service calls.
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation.
- Install replacement parts and perform routine equipment repairs.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and technical documentation.
- Assist with facility maintenance projects as needed.
- Ensure maintenance activities and repairs are properly documented and completed in
accordance with company procedures.

Production Systems & Technology
- Support and maintain production tracking spreadsheets and databases.
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of manufacturing software and electronic records.
- Organize and maintain electronic documentation and file systems.
- Create and improve spreadsheets, forms, and reports.
- Train employees on company software and electronic processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation.
- Recommend equipment, process, and workflow improvements to increase efficiency, reliability,
and production capacity.
Production Support
- Assist with vial filling, crimping, labeling, packaging, and other manufacturing activities as
needed.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all SOPs, GMP requirements, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Support inventory and material organization.
- Assist with implementation of new equipment, production processes, and employee training as
needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or technical coursework in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance,
engineering technology, computer systems, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
- Experience organizing large amounts of electronic data.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food production,
industrial maintenance, or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience following and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); familiarity with GMP
principles is preferred.
- Basic electrical, HVAC, or mechanical repair experience is preferred.
- Ability to safely use common hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.

- Experience supporting production, maintenance, engineering, or technical operations in a
regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with freeze dryers, filling equipment, crimpers, HVAC systems, pumps, or automated
manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with manufacturing software, ERP systems, inventory management systems, or
electronic production records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience organizing electronic documentation and production records.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments while wearing required PPE.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and work in confined spaces when necessary.
- Ability to work in warm manufacturing environments for extended periods.
