What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician - SECOND SHIFT position at Signature Systems Group, LLC?
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team! You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, install, and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform mechanic skills including and not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred
- 3 years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience
- Experience with injection molding
- Welding experience preferred
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload

Pay range: We will consider all hourly pay rates depending on experience.
Flexibility to work needed overtime is required.
